The project “Prototype development for the future National Information Hub” (NIS), commissioned by the Slovenian Tourist Board, was being carried out in partnership with IGEA as the lead partner, and the team including Inova IT, Numo and Hosting.
The NIS is a key and the most comprehensive part of the Digital Transformation Strategy for Slovenian Tourism 2022-2026, as well as a central tool for monitoring the objectives of the current Slovenian Tourism Strategy. When fully implemented, it will be a unique data and information hub for measuring the impact of tourism, offering a comprehensive tool for data-driven decision-making to various stakeholders. It will also have a strong involvement of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, in terms of integration (automatic collecting of data), digitization (of the manual procedures and management of the scheme) and mostly optimization of the working process for Slovenia Green holders.
In an intense four months, we prepared 45 use cases, clickable prototype, complete data source analysis and business plan. The components prepared in the prototype phase will represent the substantive basis for the technical implementation phase in the next two years (till 31.12.2025).
The project is being implemented in the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
