We defined all the necessary measures and identified activities that will enable the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve to eliminate single use plastics in tourism (and related activities) already in the short term and gradually transition to a circular economy.
The action plan was designed as a model that will be transferable to the entire Slovenia – through the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism platform and the Slovenian Tourist Board.
